Adult Christian Formation

Occurrence: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month

When: 10:00 am

Where: The Guild Room

Thursday Night Bible Study

When: 7:00 pm
We currently meet via Zoom.

DreamBuilders

Dreambuilders is an all-volunteer, faith-based organization of teens and adults. It leads national and international work trips, plus local work days in maryland, to help build and repair homes for people in need.

Healing Ministry

Church of the Ascension has a long history of healing ministry to its members and the community. The Healing Ministry is done in a variety of ways; primarily through intercessory prayer and anointing with the laying on of hands. Our healing ministry is open to everyone.

Women's Ministry

Heart & Hand Ministry

​Heart & Hand Ministry creates prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and support. The maker of the shawl begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way.

Friends supporting one another with small gifts and messages of encouragement.

Pins & Needles

The women of Pins & Needles meet every Wednesday at 10:45 am in room 201 to knit, sew, craft, quilt and more. The money raised supports various ministries.

St. Martha's Guild

​The women of St. Martha’s Guild support our members in Seminary, host receptions for the Rector, and sponsor the Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.
